Why This Work Matters

My work is deeply personal. As a domestic violence advocate, therapist, and educator, I’ve seen firsthand the devastating impact of abuse, coercion, and unsafe relationships. I also know the power of education, access, and support in transforming lives.

Coming from a marginalized background, I understand the barriers people face in seeking help—whether it’s survivors afraid to speak out, professionals unsure how to intervene, or institutions lacking the tools to create real change. That’s why I’m committed to culturally competent, trauma-informed education that empowers individuals, schools, medical professionals, and law enforcement to take meaningful action.

This work isn’t just about prevention—it’s about healing, protection, and empowerment. Whether I’m training professionals, consulting on safety initiatives, or providing therapy, my mission is to ensure that no one has to navigate these challenges alone. Everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and in control of their own story.
